The Procellix Side Effects: Harmful or Not?

As a woman, you may want to hide or remove the appearance of cellulite on the skin. A smooth, healthy, and sexy body is definitely what any woman would want, so many companies have now come up with products to help women achieve this body.

One of these products is Procellix, a topical cream or ointment that claims to help women get rid of stubborn cellulite.

However, we must ask ourselves whether or not Procellix has side effects, as you as the user would want to make sure that it is safe for use and that nothing harmful will happen as a result of using such a cream. Many people thus ask if there are any Procellix side effects recorded.

Procellix and possible side effects

Procellix uses ingredients that are commonly found in other medications, such as asthma medications. These ingredients are aminophylline, guarana extract, glycerine, propylene glycol, bladderwack, caffeine, aloe bardensis gel, sage, and corbomer.

Researchers discovered that these ingredients, aside from helping ease asthmatic attacks, also had an effect on fat—they broke the fat and cellulite down and released it from the body, initiating lymphatic drainage.

Procellix was thus formulated and made to be used on such parts of the body as the arms, legs, and stomach area to firm up that area. Results may be seen in as fast as a few days as long as it is applied religiously twice a day.

Since the ingredients are common ingredients which are used for other purposes of medication, it can be safe to assume that they are not toxic or in any way harmful to your health, though research on whether they are good for cellulite removal are still not as established yet.

The manufacturers of Procellix assure its customers that the cream is safe to use, unless you are allergic to the ingredients.

However, in general, the cream has no harmful side effects, save for a slight effect on the heart rate for four hours after application due to the caffeine and aminophylline, which should not be severe if you take it properly as a topical cream and do not of course ingest it.

For more information on the ingredients, you can read the ingredients label on the product, or by contacting the company directly.

Aside from such side effects, you should still take all the necessary precautions to ensure that you will not be harmed by the product, as it is still a form of medication.

The usual guidelines of pregnant and lactating women having to consult a doctor before using any product still apply, and a general rule of consulting a physician when it comes to taking any form of treatment is still a good rule of thumb to follow.
